The Wednesday we had to leave Bubba at the vet for Treatment ( April 28, 2021 )Dr. Galbraith asked if I wanted to see him before we left, of course I did, we were in the back yard of his office, after he talked to us and the girl brought Bubba out, Bubba wanted me to take him so bad. The girl put him down and went all around the car trying to get in, the girl picked him back up and I was petting him and he took his paw and rubbed it on my hand as if to say take me, please, take me home. He did the same thing to David. I cried all day and the next day we went to get him I was so happy but that was short lived :(

I lost my sweet fur baby Bubba on may 3, 2021. He had congestive heart failure, heart murmur, enlarged heart and a mass in his spleen.Last Tuesday evening/night he went outside in the back yard to potty and when he came back in he didn'tgo to the kitchen for a treat like he always does, he headed toward the bathroom where he sleeps and stopped in front of the the front door. I knew something was wrong so I started walking over to him and he collapsed and couldn't get up.His legs and he were too weak, his feet kept sliding on the floor as he tried desperately to get up. I got a towel and put in front of him to help him get traction on the hard wood floors as he doesn't like to be picked up.He made it up a few minutes later and went out to the bathroom several times that night with no problem, while I was talking on the phone to my friend Sherry Conner. The next morning it happened again so we loaded him up and took him to Dr. Wyatt Galbraith in Pulaski, Tn. He kept Bubba and got the fluid off his lungs ( they had filled up with fluid) and we went and got him the next day. He did it falling again the next day, I carried him out the front door because he was not able to climb the back steps, we only have 3 steps in the front yard, he went out past the swing on the side and used the bathroom and on the way back he got almost the to steps and fell down, I grabbed him up and got him in the house. It took him 2 hours to get over that.Stacey came to visit him and us Friday. He was fine ( almost fine)again until about 2 am Saturday morning, I woke up and looked over at him and he was not asleep, just laying there with head up looking all around. I knew something was wrong, I got up and patted him on the head and turned on the kitchen light and stayed awake with him just watching him. He soon began getting up and walking to the bathroom to drink water, he was basically restless. I had put some water in the living room for him and he wouldn't drink it. I brought his water bowl from the bathroom because he seemed to only want the one he was used to drinking out of. He wouldn't drink it, he went to the bathroom looking for it so I took it back in there and drank some.He was so pitiful. We took him back to the vet that morning and I sat in back with him and loved on him and tried to let him rest his frot legs and upper body on me because he couldn't lay down because of lack of oxygen, his little legs were trembling from standing up and getting weak. I picked him up when we got there and carried him to the front door, they came out and got him and that was the last time I saw him alive :( I am so heartbroken and lonely for him.He was my baby.
